Mr. Yosh Kawano, 97 year-old, Nisei passed away peacefully on June 25, 2018. Born in Washington state he served in the US Army during WWII and was the Equipment Manager of the Chicago Cubs for over 60 years.

Memorial services with military tribute were held on Saturday, July 7 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Pastor Ron Miyake of Evergreen Baptist Church of San Gabriel officiating.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a future date.

He is survived by his loving family; brother, Nobe (Cheese) Kawano; nieces, Ellen (Luchio) Biasin and Hana (David Brown) Kawano; nephew, Frank Kawano; and other relatives.
