YUTAKA SHINOHARA
Funeral services for the late Mr. Yutaka Shinohara, 92 year old Los Angeles, California born Nisei resident of West Covina who passed away on October 8th 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center will be held on Friday, October 19 at 7:30 PM at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 East First Street, Los Angeles, under the auspices of the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, directed by Fukui Mortuary.
Due to the construction of the Light Rail System, Vignes street will be closed at First Street. Please use streets north of the Betsuin (Alameda to Commercial)
He is survived by his wife, Takako Shinohara; son, Bruce Yukutaka Shinohara; daughter, Penny Akemi (Gilbert) Nishimura; grandchildren, Darren and Lauren Shinohara, Scott and Melissa Nishimura; sister-in-law, Lilly Shinohara. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
