Yurika (Nagasawa) Matsushita passed away peacefully on February 26, 2021. She was 89. She leaves behind her son Brian, son Ron, daughter Joni (Mostert), grandchildren Cassie Mostert and Benjamin Matsushita, and great-grandson, Kaiden Matsushita. Yurika is also survived by her siblings, Sumi Yonemoto, Masaru Nagasawa, and Sachi Mimura in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Yuri, as she was known by all her friends and loved ones, loved bowling and was active even at the age of 83 when she went ziplining with her family. She was strong, smart, and independent advancing her career, going to school, and raising three children pretty much as a single mother.

A Celebration of Life will be held in April on Yurika's Birthday.
