Private funeral services for the late Mrs. Yurie Yamayoshi, 95 year-old, Parkdale Oregon born, resident of South San Gabriel, who passed away on February 3, 2013, were held on February 10 at Fukui Mortuary " Chapel in the Garden", officiated by Rev. Kazuaki Nakata of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

She is survived by her husband, John Noboru Yamayoshi; daughters, Keiko Kubo and Sumiko Yamashita; also survived by grandchildren, great-grand children, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan.
