Private family funeral services for Yumiko Niihara Miyamoto 62-year-old Fukuoka-ken born resident of Los Angeles who passed away Jan. 15, 2010 at her residence, were held on Sat. Jan. 23 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with SGI-USA officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon James Miyamoto; son, Paul (Masako) Niihara; granddaughter, Emma Kiyomi Niihara; sisters, Kyoko Nakamura and Kazuko Ishii both of Japan; brother, Nadao Inoue of Japan; mother-in-law, Chiyeko Miyamoto; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
