Private funeral services for the late Yukio George Okamoto, 99 year old resident of Los Angeles who passed away peacefully in his home on December 1, 2014 were held on Sunday, December 14 at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Culver City.

He was predeceased by his wife of 72 years, Miyoko. He is survived by sons William and Ronald Okamoto, daughter Margie (Fritz) Rapp; grandchildren, Kimberly and Roger Okamoto; great grandchildren. Wyland, Kiyomi and Sophia Okamoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and Japan.
