Obituary
YAMASHITA, Yukiko (93) El Centro, California-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully on November 26 at Keiro Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Fusaichi and her son, Shigeru Yamashita and her sisters Misaye Ito and Kazuko Mendoza. She is survived by her children, Setsuko (Don) Yamamoto, Jimmy, Harry (Donna), Raymond (Jean) and Howard (Naomi) Yamashita and 8 grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Sam (Hatsie), George and Fumi Nakamura, Truckie (Tony) Hiraoka, and Rose Kotow.
Funeral services were held privately at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Rev. William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
