Yukiko Shirai, 87 year-old. Fresno born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on November 16, 2019. Private memorial services were held on November 26, officiated by Rev. Fumiaki Usuki of West Los Angeles Buddhist Temple.

She is survived by her children, Dale Hajime Shirai and Carol Mayumi Bertoni; grandchildren, Jason Hiroshi, Matthew Akira (Evelyn Arias), and Wesley Makoto Bertoni and Karianne Desise Shirai; great- grandchildren, Zolin Hiroki and Keala Mayumi Bertoni; nephews, Robert Iwao (Marybeth Kaiser) Koda of MD, Edward Satoru (Jan Linder) , and David Minoru Koda; also survived by many other relatives.
