MRS. YUKIKO JANE SHINTANI, 87, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2012. She is survived by members of her loving family including: daughter Gwen P. Murakami, sons John Y. (Vesta) and Richard R. (Margie) Shintani, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and sister Kay Kiyoko Hara.
Private family funeral services were held on Saturday, November 10, at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating and Rev. George Matsubayashi retired.
