A private funeral for Yukiko Hirata, who passed away at 97 on June 27th, 2025, was held September 6th at Orange County Buddhist Church, with

burial at Westminster Memorial Park. Born in San Francisco, raised in Japan, and a longtime Anaheim resident, Yukiko is survived by her sons Ken

(Lorene) and Don (Karen), and grandchildren Kurt, Christine, Sarah, and Elle.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
