Yoshiyuki J. Fujimura
A funeral service for Mr. Yoshiyuki J. Fujimura, 91 year old Brighton, Colorado-born Nisei resident of Los Alamitos who passed away on November 4, at Los Alamitos Medical Center, will be held on Saturday, November 15, 9:00 AM at Forest Lawn Cypress "Church of our Fathers", 4471 Lincoln Ave., Cypress, CA, officiated by Pastor Paul White of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church.
Beloved husband of Takako Fujimura; father of Nancy (Kevin) Godfrey and Ernie (Sharyl) Fujimura of Arizona; grandfather of Lauren and James Godfrey; uncle of David Kikuchi of New Jersey; brother in law of Faith Fujimura of Honolulu, Henry (Jane), Ikuo (Tomiko) and Jane Yamamoto. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Yoshiyuki was a member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Unit, a life member of the University of Nebraska Alumni, Cal Tech Alumni Association and a life member of the Rossmoor-Los Alamitos Library.
