Private funeral services for Yoshiye Kawata, 88-year-old resident of Los Angeles who passed away on April 2, 2010 at St. Vincent Medical Center, were held on Sat. April 10 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her nephew, Casey Shunichi (Jessica) Kawata; nieces, Kirsten Kaoru Kawata and Julia Natsuko (Morel) Ramirez; and other relatives.
