Funeral services for the late Yoshiye Kato, 86 year old Parlier born resident of Rosemead, who passed away on Aug 15, 2009 were held on Saturday Aug. 29, 2009, Fukui Mortuary Chapel in the Garden, with Rev. Shuichi Kurai of Montebello Sozenji Buddhist Temple officiating.

Yoshiye is survived by loving husband Benny Kato; mother to Cathy Macri and Kristine (Danny) Tomovich; adoring grandmother to Aleks Tomovich. Yoshiye is also survived by brothers, Jimmie, Jack and Albert Imamura; sisters, Georgia Matsui, Mie Yamauchi and Yaeko Imamura; sister in law, Yoshiko Kato. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
