Private funeral services for the late Yoshiro Shimoda, 84 year old Seattle born, WWII veteran and resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on Oct. 5, were held on Oct. 9 at Evergreen cemetery, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary

He is predeceased by his brother Shigeru Larry Shimoda. He is survived by his sisters, Toshiko Hirano and Ayako Takizawa; sister in law, Michiko Shimoda; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
