Family services for the late Yoshiro "Ziggy" Kaku, 91-year-old Los Angeles-born Nisei and resident of Keiro Nursing Home who passed away on April 26 at St. Vincent Medical Center, were held on May 3 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Rinban Chuho Matsubayashi of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Joyce Adachi; brothers, Richard (Yoshi) and Nobu (Fumi) Kaku; sisters, Masaye Miyamoto and Satsuki "Sachi" Kaku; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
