Funeral services for the late Yoshio Shim Nakamura, 99 year-old Nisei and long time resident of Los Angeles, who passed away peacefully on January 21, 2019 will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, Risen Christ Chapel, 5835 W. Slauson Ave., Culver City, CA 90230.

He was preceded in death by Mary, his beloved wife of 70 years. He is survived by his loving family; daughters, Jackie Nakamura of WA, Christine Nakamura, Donna Mastrosimone; grandchildren, Nadine (Szeying Tan) Nakamura PhD., Daniel Jernewall and Hillary (Jose) Vargas; great-grandchildren, Niklas and Sonja Nakamura-Tan; sister, Jean Kizuka; he is also survived many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations be made to a charity of your choice.
