Yoshio Hamada, a 92-year-old San Pedro, California-born Kibei-Nisei resident of Los Angeles passed away on April 4, 2017.   He is survived by his beloved wife, Setsuko; children, Tak (Nancy) Hamada and  Shigeko (Sam) Loredo of Arizona; grandchildren Michelle (Jared) Kemp, Greg (Yoshiko) Tamura and Allison (Eric) Naruo; great-grandchildren, Cole S. Naruo, Ryan T. Naruo and Sabrina M. Tamura;  sister, Sakae Shiba.  Also survived by many nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Funeral Services were held privately at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with  Rev. Kazuaki Nakata of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
