Private memorial services for the late Mrs. Yoshiko "Bernice"
Teruya, 92 year-old, Pepeekeo, HI born Nisei, a long time resident of Los Angeles who passed away peacefully on July 25 with her loving family by her side, were held on Saturday, August 18 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. KarenFay Young-Ramos of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Y (Sandy) and Ronnie M. Teruya; daughter, Karen Teruya; four grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; siblings, sister, Hiroko (Dick) Mashita; brothers,
Yoshinobu Henry and Hideo (Norma) Teruya of Portland OR; sister,
Sumiko Shigemura; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other
relatives here and in Hawaii.
