Yoshihiko Kitagawa 97, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on January 19, 2017 after a brief illness.
He was born Sakawa, Japan on November 11, 1919. He and his wife, Chizu, who preceded him in death, raised their children in Camarillo where they resided for 50 years before moving to Nikkei Senior Gardens Assisted Living in Arleta, California.
Yoshiko was a dedicated member of Gedatsu Church and was actively involved in his younger years.
He enjoyed fishing, photography and was an avid Dodger fan.
Yoshihiko was also preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Hiroko and is survived by his daughter, Haruko; son, Robert; son, Steve and his wife Cheryl and grandsons Bryan and Matthew.
In keeping with the wishes of Yoshihiko, services and interment will be private.
