Funeral services for the late Mr. Yoshiharu Yamanishi, 84 year-old Terminal Island born Nisei resident of Gardena who passed away at Memorial Hospital of Gardena on October 8 will be held on Thursday, October 16th from 11:00 am at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 with Rev. Naomi Nakano of Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Mitsu Yamanishi; son, Yoshiyuki (Nancy) Yamanishi; daughters, Miyo (Kenji) Hachiya, Harumi (Cliff) Nishijima; grandchildren, Kristine and Staci Yamanishi, Brian (Cindy) and Michelle Hachiya, Cary and Traci Nishijima; great-grandchildren, Paige and Jacob Hachiya; sisters, Setsuyo Asari, Tatsuyo Kobata of Hawaii, Mitsume Yamanishi, Yotsuye (Roy) Murakami; sister-in-law, Sumako Yamanishi; uncle, Tamotsu (Aiko) Kobata and also survived by many nephew, nieces, and other relatives.
