Obituary

Yoshie Wada , a 96-year-old Fukuoka,  Japan-born Issei longtime resident of Los Angeles passed away on June 21, 2017.
Mrs. Wada was predeceased by her beloved husband Hisashi Wada ,  her daughter, Margie Okita and her great-granddaughter, Dani Smith.
She is survived by her children Wayne Wada , Victor Wada , Terry Wada , April (Richard) Shimada; grandchildren, Mido ri Okita of HI, Ryan Okita, Michael (Marisa) Okita, Kacy Wada , Cynthia Wada , Lori Wada , Matthew Shimada, Nicholas Shimada and Lindsey Yamasaki; great-grandchildren, Kiemi Paresa and Ronin Paresa, both of Hawaii; sons-in-law, Yoshikuni Okita and Ron Kubo; sister-in-law Nori (Dr. Julius Frank) Naka. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 11:00 AM at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
