Yoshie Sison
Beloved mother and wife

Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.

Yoshie Sison (94) was born in Yokaichi, Shiga Prefecture Japan on September 21, 1929.  She was one of seven children to Yoshikichi Nakahara and Suma Kinka.

She met her husband, Donald Sison, while he was stationed in Japan. They were happily married for over 67 years. Yoshie was a military wife and lived in Japan, Hawaii, North Carolina, Florida and finally settled in California in 1969.  During this time, she gave birth to seven children, Terri Maki, Carol Rumi, Karen Sumi, Katherine Emiko, Donna Yoshie, June Yoshiko and Donald Raymond.  She is a grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is lovingly known as Oba to all her family. She passed away peacefully surrounded by ohana in her Irvine home on February 28, 2024.

She loved her family deeply and will forever be missed.
