IWASA, Yoshie Nakata. Age 96, Bainbridge Island, WA born, resident of Los Angeles, passed away on March 17 at Berkley West Convalescent Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Kyoichi Iwasa and her daughter-in-law, Diane Iwasa. She is survived by her beloved sons, Ralph Kyoji and Lynn Eisei (Meredith) Iwasa; her grandchildren, Karen Lynn (Mike Lubofsky) Iwasa, Joy Emiko Iwasa, Kenneth Scott Iwasa of TN, Bradley James Iwasa, and Douglas Lynn Iwasa. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives in California and Washington. A private memorial service was held on Saturday March 27, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Santa Monica CA, with Pastor Nathan Kilian officiating.
