Yoshiaki Kasama, 87 years old of La Puente, passed away peacefully on Sept. 1 after a brief hospitalization.

Yoshiaki is survived by his wife Hideko with whom he enjoyed 55 of years of marriage; daughter Grace (Don) Tabata; son Patrick Kasama; daughter Nancy (Daisuke) Hashimoto; and grandchildren Atom and Kaela Hashimoto.

A  private service was held.
