KATO, YONEKO, age 97 passed away on April 10. Public funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 10:00a.m. at West Covina Christian Church, 1100 E. Cameron Ave., West Covina, California.
She is predeceased by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. S. Akasaka; husband, Dr. William M. Kato; brothers, Kiich and George Akasaka.
She is survived by her son, Bob Kato; daughter, Nancy (Joseph) Akahoshi; grandchildren, Ruth and Paul (Lori) Akahoshi; great-grandchild, Kaida Akahoshi; sisters, Elaine Hori, Mae (John) Sakamoto, and Terrie Sugimoto; sister-in-law, Em Akasaka;
also survived by many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends here and in Japan.
