Funeral service for YOKO SHIMIZU, 83, a Los Angeles born Nisei and resident of Monterey Park who passed away on April 2 at the South Bay Keiro Nursing Home, will be held on Thursday, April 10, 10AM at Fukui Mortuary Chapel, 707 E Temple St., Los Angeles with Rev. Mark Nakagawa of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.

She is survived by her son, Spencer (Dawn); grandchildren, Jared and Lauren; sister, Sumiko Sato and many nieces and nephews.
