Yoko Murakami, 93-year-old, Los Angeles-born, resident of Los Angeles peacefully passed away at Emerald Court on July 14th.  She was predeceased by her loving husband, Masaru Murakami and brothers, Noboru and Bill Sachio Sumi; She is survived by her loving family; daughters, Carol Emi Murakami (Jerry Tondo), Lynn Midori Yada (Dave); grandchildren, Jessica Tondo Quan (Derek), Jonathan Tondo, Katie Yada Dharmosetio (Andrew) and Michael Yada; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral service was held on Friday, August 15 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with a burial service following at Evergreen Cemetery with Reverend Ki Tae Choi of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.
