Funeral services for the late Yasushi "Sush" Matsubara, 70-year-old, Los Angeles, CA born and resident of the city, who passed away on July 27, 2006 at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, will be held on Saturday, August 5, 3:00 P.M. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., L.A, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. Due to construction, 1st St. will be closed, but the corner of Temple St. and Vignes St. will be open.

He is survived by his sons, Gary (Kathy), Paul (Kathi) and David (Michelle) Matsubara; grandson, Dane Matsubara; granddaughters, Cari, Samantha, Sydney and Amanda Matsubara; mother, Kimiko Matsubara; sister, Kats (Allan) Takii; nieces, Stefanie and Leslie Takii; loving companion, Keiko Yamamoto.
