Born in Tokyo, Japan, resident of Los Angeles; passed away on Jan. 4, 2006, beloved wife of Ryoji Hashima; mother of Marie Mariko (Charles) Lofton and Anna Rumiko (Abraham) Oren; grandmother of Emily Emiko Oren and Zachary Kazuo Oren; sister of Shigeo (Sanae) Maruyama ofJapan; sister-in-law of Ryo (Yoko) Hashima, Adolphus Niccolls of WA, Ray (Utako) Hashima, Etsuko (Katsumi) Igarashi of ID and Miyeko (William) Kawata of WA; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan. Public Visitation will be held on Sat. Jan. 14, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and funeral service from 10:30 a.m. at Maryknoll Japanese Catholic Center, 222 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles, CA
