Private funeral service for the late Yaeko Imamura, 80-year-old, Roscoe (now Sun Valley), CA-born Nisei were held on July 10 at Green Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Harada of Orange County Buddhist Church officiating. The last of ten children born to Iwajiro and Mitsuyo Imamura, Yaeko passed away peacefully on June 27 at South Bay Keiro Nursing Home. She was pre-deceased by her sisters and their husbands Georgia (Spencer) Matsui, Yoshiye (Benny) Kato and brother-in-law Toshikazu Yamauchi and is survived by sister Mie Yamauchi, brothers Jimmie, Jack and Mas Imamura, and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
