Private memorial service for the late Mrs. Yae Oyakawa, 98 years old, Okinawa, Japan born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on February 5, 2017, was held on Saturday, February 18 at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Lynn Hiroko Matsumoto; grand-daughter, Staci (Warren) Sumilang; brother, Shojin Miyagi of Japan; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins here and in Japan.
