Private family funeral service for Yae Kubo, 99-year-old Honolulu, HI born resident of N. Hollywood who passed away on Jan. 8, 2014 at her residence, was held on Sat. Feb 1 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with a minister from Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her son, Harumi Kubo; daughters, Setsuko Yano and Mizuho Honda; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; also survived by many relatives.
