A private funeral service for the late Wayne Makoto Kitagawa, 75-year-old, Tokyo-born, resident of Huntington Beach, who passed away peacefully on March 11, was held on Saturday, April 4th at Fukui Mortuary Chapel in Los Angeles, with a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Miwako, step-children, Traci (Eric) Tanaka and Kevin Murase; grandchildren, Connor and Mason Tanaka; brothers, Keith (Alison) and Brent (Michelle) Kitagawa; nephews, Randy and Kimo Kitagawa; niece, Nicole Smith and other relatives.
