Walter Susumu Nakano, 75, passed away on May 19, 2012. Walter is survived by his wife, Martha; daughter, Sara Nakano (Rockey Crane); son, Matthew (Elizabeth) Nakano; grandchildren, Joseph Cattivera and Jennifer Nakano; sisters, Grace (Joseph) Seto, Eleanor (Otto) Nakano, and Carolyn (Robert) Matsumura. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, 11:00 A.M., at West LA United Methodist Church, 1913 Purdue Ave, Los Angeles, CA. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
