Family service for VIRGINIA TOYOKO OKI, 89, a Newcastle born Nisei who passed away on April 16 at her residence in Los Angeles, was held on Thursday, April 20 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel, with Rinban Chuho Matsubayashi of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her brother, Saburo Oki; sister, Sally Tanaka; sister-in-law, Betty Oki; nephews, Jack and Ron (Mary) Oki and Steve Tateishi and nieces Karen Tanaka and Janet (Ray) Rendon.
