ABE, Victor Hiroshi, 95, of Rolling Hills Est. died peacefully at home on Thurs., Apr. 7, 2016. Born in LA, he graduated from UC Berkeley and worked as a structural engineer. His 42-yr engineering legacy includes the Nakaoka Ctr, Republic Bank, military exchanges, churches, restaurants, schools, theaters, and the Go For Broke Monument in Little Tokyo. He served in the Military Intelligence Service and received the Congressional Gold Medal presented to WWII Nisei veterans. Vic is survived by wife Esther, daughters, Vicki and Verna, brother, Lewis (Deana) Abe, sister-in-law, Agnes Fukumoto, and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be on Fri., Apr. 29, 12noon at Green Hills Memorial Park Pavilion, 27501
