Funeral services for the late Mrs. Ume "Helen" Kita, 98-year-old, Huntington Park, Calif.-born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away peacefully on Oct. 17, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, 1:00 p.m. at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 12371 Braddock Dr., Culver City, Calif.

She is survived by her son, Ben Kita; daughter, Ruby Kita; sisters-in-law, Sanaye Kita and Sue Murata; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives; predeceased by husband Misao Ed Kita. Additional parking will be available at the Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Dr., L.A., 90066. Casual attire.
