Funeral services for the late Tussy Tsuginori Umeda, 90-year-old Los Angeles-born Nisei and resident of the city who passed away on August 4 at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center, will be held on Saturday, August 12, from 12:00 p.m. at West Los Angeles Buddhist Temple, 2003 Corinth Ave., West, L.A. under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Yoshiko Umeda; daughter, Cheryl Nimori; sons, Glenn (Joan) Umeda and Kenneth (Arleen) Umeda; grandchildren, Kimberlie and Kristofor Nimori and Chelsea and Dustin Umeda; brother, Yoshinori (Margaret) Umeda; sisters, Chizuye Yoshioka, Yatsue Tomooka of Santa Maria and Yoshie Okumura of Indio; sisters-in-law, Taye Umeda and Grace Sakahara, the latter of Anaheim; brother-in-law, Shigeru Sunada of Parlier; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
