Tsuyoko (Sue) Ota,
97, passed away on September 27 peacefully in her sleep.
Sue is predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry.
She is survived by her sons, Henry and Frank (Sharon) and grandchildren Scott, Christine, Vincent, Candace, Jon and Tamra and 8 great grandchildren.
Born on January 1, 1919 in Los Angeles. She, Harry and her family were interred at Gila River in Arizona. After the war the family moved back to Southern California.
Sue worked for nearly 40 years for the City of Los Angeles and rose to the position of Commission Executive Assistant for the Board of Harbor Commissioners at the Port of Los Angeles.
She enjoyed playing golf and travelling throughout her retirement.
Her love and kindness will be missed by family and friends.
No service will be held; and the family politely requests no flowers or
koden. In lieu of koden, contributions can be made to the JACCC in the name of Sue Ota.
