Private service for TRUDES TSUYAKO (OSAJIMA) NISHIZU, 95, a Los Angeles born Nisei and resident of Monterey Park who passed away peacefully on April 27, was held on Saturday, April 29 at the Fukui Mortuary Chapel. The family requests in lieu of monetary gifts of flowers, that a donation be made to the Japanese-American National Museum, 100 N Central Ave., L.A., CA 90012.

She is survived by her husband, John of 68 years; sons, Steven (Mariko) and Norman (Tracy) Nishizu; daughters, Gay (Mark) Rutherford and Joyce (David) Tanimoto; grandchildren, Evan, Jared, Casey, Jenna, Chad, Cameron, Jake, Brooke and Devon; sister, Sumiko Abe and many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
