Toyoko Yanohira, 94-year-old,  resident of Gardena, born in Waipahu, HI, passed away at Torrance Memorial Medical Center on September 28, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband, Yasuo Yanohira; daughter Janice Sunahara; son, Eric (Leina) Yanohira; grandson, Drew Sunahara; granddaughters, Keira Sunahara and Emma Yanohira.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, many grand- and great-grand nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

A service will be held at Fukui Mortuary , 707 E Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 at 12 pm on 10/18, Saturday officiating by Pastor Daniel Matsuda of Gardena Valley Baptist Church.
