Funeral service for
TOYOKO YAMAGATA
, 92, a Los Angeles born Sansei who passed away on January 7 at the Bright Days Home in Torrance, was held on Saturday, February 21 with Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
Predeceased by her husband Sakuo who passed away on February 10, 1996, she is survived by her sons, Ken (Kathy), Don (Anna) and Mark Yamagata; daughters, Naomi (Vince) Varsh and Hiromi (Tom Nishimura) Yamagata; 6 grandchildren; sister, Patricia Naoko Kurokawa; sister-in-law, Kay "Kaz" Nagasaki and many nieces and nephews.
