Toyoko Okida, 90-year-old, Hiroshima-born resident of Altadena, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, August 16th, 2024. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Minoru Okida; She is survived by her loving family; son, Roy (Colleen) Okida; daughters, Jane (Bob) Yoshihara, Grace (Kenneth) Chu; grandchildren, Courtney Chu, Laura Yoshihara, Fiona Okida; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private memorial and interment service was held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Mountain View Cemetery with Reverend Gregory Gibbs of Pasadena Buddhist Temple officiating.
