Toyoko Ito, loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother passed away on November 30, 2013. Toyoko was born in Tacoma, Washington and raised in Kagoshima and Kobe Japan. After completing her college education in Japan, she returned to Los Angeles after World War II.

She is survived by her devoted husband George Ito, son Raymond Ito, daughter Elsie (Rod) Nakamoto and grandchildren Brynn, Scott and Emily. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. The service was officiated by Reverend Nobuo Miyaji from Gardena Buddhist Church.
