Obituary
Private burial services for the late Toye Hirayama, 97 year old Oahu (Waikakalau Gulch) Hawaii born Nisei resident of Los Angeles who passed away on February 28 at home, were held on Friday, March 9th at Rose Hills Cemetery with Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating.
She is survived by her sons Noburu and Warren Takeshi Hirayama; daughters Charlotte (Masumi) Uyeno, Hiroko Hirayama and Doris (Robert) Hofmeister. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-granchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
