Toshiyuki Shinden, an 80-year-old Los Angeles, California-born Nisei resident of Thousand Oaks who served honorably in the California Air National Guard passed away peacefully on March 9, 2018.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Amy Shinden; children, Bruce, Valerie, Derek and Tricia.  Also survived by 7 grandchildren and many other relatives.

A family service was held privately at Green Hills Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Fumiaki Usuki of Oxnard Buddhist Temple.
