Mr. Toshio Iwata, a 92 year old CA-born Nisei veteran, passed away on July 31, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016, 4 p.m. at the Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, CA.

Tosh was predeceased by his wife, Jean Akiko Iwata, in 1986. He is survived by his daughter Ellyn Iwata, grandsons Warren, Derek and Jason Yamashita, his son David Iwata (Lisa) and grandchildren Davis and Paige Iwata, his older sister Jean Harue Ishida, as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
