Toshio Hirata, 76-year old Hawaii born and Torrance resident passed away on April 4, 2008. Toshio is survived by wife Ruth Takako Hirata; daughter Cheryl Aguayo; sons Darren (Erica) Hirata, Danny Hirata; grandchildren Daniel and Jared Aguayo, Adam and Iris Hirata; brothers Mitsuji and Kenichi (Yoshiko) Hirata of Hawaii; sisters Kay Kiyoko Katagihara and Pat Matsuyo (Steve) Tanoue of Hawaii and Yaeko (Frank) Tanaka of Torrance. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.


Funeral services will be held on Friday Apr. 11, 2008 at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 W 182nd St, Torrance, Ca. Family requests casual attire.
