A private funeral service for Toshio Fukumasu, 85-year-old, Tokyo, Japan-born, Niigata raised, long-time resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on Jan.19, 2019 in Los Angeles, was held on Feb. 9,2019 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden",

Officiated by Rev. Paul Iwata and Rev. James Iwata of Sunrise Foursquare Church.

Predeceased by his wife, Yoko Fukumasu.

He is survived by his daughters, Shirley (Brian)Van Matre and Kathleen (Jason) Celentano; five grandchildren; stepson, Kent Yamayoshi; stepdaughters, Noreen (Norman) Arikawa and Arleen (Andrew Wong) Yamayoshi; three step-granddaughters;

Also survived by other relatives.
