Toshino Mistushima, 83 year old, Hawaii born Nisei, passed away, peacefully at her residence in Gardena, July 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services were held privately at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes with Reverend Nobuko Miyoshi of West Covina Honganji Buddhist Temple.
She was predeceased by her husband Tetsuyuki and is survived by her three daughters, Pearl (James Hickey) Mitsushima of Fresno, Janice Mitsushima and Claire Mitsushima, and four grandchildren, Brian Funo, Marissa Funo, Brennon Mendez and Jayden Zabala. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives on the Mainland and in Hawaii.
